Always looking for ways to improve their inter-action with members, so Hit Safari will start you off with one of four Video Tutorials on the Members Page, and their News Updates are in the form of a blog, so you have the chance to have your say. More than just another Traffic Exchange, this program opens the door to a variety of linked programs, from a very interactive forum to the leading TE Newsletter Hit Exchange News, from full Tutorial section and Splash Pages to Doctor Traffic, a traffic co-op for members. Relative newcomer to the ranks, but making big strides because of great features and maximum exposure. Unlike the TEAMS in StartXchange, your surfing on LinkCrews gets you into ever higher crews, and at the cutoff point on Saturday Midnight Eastern, the top crews share the points pot. Not necessary to be upgraded, tho you gain more, but free members have to score 1,000 points to qualify for the share out! In addition, there are various BONUS screens while you surf....great fun. This is my pick from the plethora of new exchanges, because it brings something new to the table. The design and layout are great, there's no need to squint to see the symbols we click, and they thought of a new wheeze....every 50 sites you surf earns a 10% increase when you surf tomorrow. Provides a target and a big incentive. Their take on interacting with members is to invite you to upload a photo which can then be used to make banners, or as part of their own rolling photo strip of members. They also started the team ethic, so you can join a team for the fun of it, or in the hope that you might get some extra credits because of team activity, but at the moment that is more a matter of hopeful optimism. Surprise yourself with a surfing bonus. The great innovation on this site is their introduction of a mega-upgrade called Wholesale Membership. The list of benefits is too long to mention here, but it's worth having a look, even just to see what can be done for $10 a month, and that is the site you will visit. You can also have your own Downline Builder page featuring up to ten of your own programs, and in an overall sense, this is an advertiser's dream, with the ability to place your own ads, and to win credits for reading ads of your fellow members. One of the veterans in the field, and noted for starting the system of using classified ads to attract visits to the web sites. In theory we write eye-catching headlines and great ads but in practise we click them all, taking care not to click on the CHEAT links. Can be a bit slow in allocating credits, but that is an advantage because once you build up your credits, you know they are being allocated even when you cannot spend as much time surfing. Interesting system of rewards depending on your level of upgrade, and as with all exchanges, it helps to have an active downline, especially if some of them have upgraded their membership. Best results with the Gold upgrade at least, and one of the top sites because of the overall management level. This is one of a number of TE’s run by Logiscape Technologies, and their latest offering is a huge leap forward, with a Traffic Exchange offering the advantages (?) of linking thru an inbuilt Social Networking platform. Too early to tell whether this will be the way forward, but the launch of TRAFFICERA has really aroused a lot of interest, so click the link and judge for yourself. Another relatively new exchange, with some good ideas, not least the random issue of bonus credits, which are doubled for upgraded members. Upgrade is a single payment, so quite attractive, and this is another exchange with an owner who is keen to interact with members. One result of that is her latest venture, MONEYTRAFFICEXCHANGE launched at the end of 2007 without any fanfare, but already attracting negative comments from competitors, and positive vibes from the growing membership. That could well be because they are willing to pay for the novel possibility of earning cash as well as traffic credits. ************************************* Do remember, your success in attracting traffic is directly related to the time you spend surfing but in addition you have to familiarise yourself with each traffic exchange and their modus operandi. On some exchanges you can choose automatic distribution of the credits you earn, on some you have to log in to allocate credits. The good traffic exchange encourages you to get new people in your downline, usually by internal downline building programs, and also offer commissions for any success you have in recruiting referrals. Those commissions are usually in credits rather than cash, and vary with your status in the program, from relatively little as a free member, to quite a lot the further up the upgrade ladder you progress. In other words the rewards for upgrades are proportional, and your judgement call has to match the business opportunity to the potential for affiliate success, with the obvious proviso that getting traffic is step one, but attracting them to join your affiliate program or even better, to buy the product you are promoting, is the major objective.
